Duties and Responsibilities:
Wolters Kluwer Health's Clinical Effectiveness (CE) organization is a fast-growing and innovation-driven healthcare information technology (HIT) provider working on the front lines of clinical care. Our talented team of physician and pharmacist editors, technologists, and product visionaries collaborate to provide advanced clinical decision support solutions that measurably improve clinical effectiveness by helping healthcare professionals provide optimal care for their patients.
We are searching for an Editorial Intern to join our team at UpToDate, based in Waltham, Massachusetts. This will be a remote position as our office remains closed due to the pandemic.
This internship is a great opportunity to learn more about the publishing industry and experience first-hand the inner workings of a fast-paced, dynamic company.
The Editorial Intern will be asked to assist with a variety of editorial projects, such as style editing, proofreading, incorporating contributor edits, assembling contributor contracts, reviewing contributor disclosures, researching and updating contributor information, and providing administrative support.
Ideal candidates will have an interest in learning about the publishing field, computer skills, and excellent proofreading skills.
Salary/Hours:
This is a remote, part-time, paid internship. Interns will be expected to work for at least 16 hours/week.
