Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

" Identify and reach out to potential adopters with offers of webex demos through humanities specialists, closed/won sales ops, class tests, and other channels

" Monitor tech support tickets and the tech support satisfaction survey and follow up with instructors to ensure timely resolution of issues and instructor satisfaction

" Schedule webex and on-campus training and keep and circulate a training calendar

" Prepare demo and training materials upon request from reps, instructional designers, and hum specs

" Add instructor contact and training summaries to ONYX database

" Collate and distribute weekly report of instructor contact/training

" Respond to forwarded calls when instructional designers are travelling for demo and training

" Serve as the first line of response for inquiries about demo or training needs from instructors, sales reps, and humanities specialists, monitoring support@bedfordstmartins.com in box

" Answer instructor, rep, and others questions via email

" Alert text support to bugs or other technical issues

" Support campus adoptions with webex or on campus demos and pedagogical training

" Help train sales reps, technical support, regional specialists, and others to facilitate product demos

" Be aware of the pedagogical and technological trends in the fields we serve by attending conferences, following online discussions, visiting innovative programs, and becoming familiar with the pedagogical literature in those fields.




Required Experience:

Qualifications:

" Bachelors degree in instructional technology, English, Communication, or History. A masters degree with college-level teaching experience a plus

" Experience with interactive computing environments, classroom and learning space technology/design, and course delivery in technology-based learning environments

" Excellent project management skills

" Strong sense of faculty/student advocacy

" Strong digital literacy/fluency, with ability to adapt to changing technical environments quickly and learn new technologies on the fly.

" Excellent collaboration skills, with an emphasis on the ability to work with a wide range of groups

" Understanding of and ability to stay current with digital learning trends and best practices

" Ability to write and communicate clearly to an audience with little or no technical knowledge or expertise

· 1-2 years experience in publishing or related field
