Medical education consulting company seeks a full-time Medical Editor to work on-site in our Belmont, MA office
Duties and Responsibilities:
Are you a detail-oriented editor with an interest in medical education?
Custom Learning Designs, Inc., works with leading pharmaceutical companies to prepare print and online content used to train pharmaceutical sales representatives.
CLD is a team-based organization whose solid reputation for accuracy in content and presentation is exhibited in our long-term relationships with clients. We are seeking an experienced medical editor/proofreader to join our team of quality-conscious perfectionists.
Responsibilities include: * Light copyediting and proofreading of print and online materials to achieve consistency and high quality * Apply style and preferences specific to each client or project and avoid inappropriate cross-pollination of styles * Review documents for adherence to formatting and style and maintain consistency across multiple deliverables * Perform quality check of eLearning modules
Required Experience:
Requirements: * Advanced knowledge of grammar and punctuation rules; expertise in AMA Manual of Style is preferred * Keen attention to detail and commitment to high quality * Highly organized with ability to prioritize and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) * Able to work independently yet enjoys being part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint * Proactive problem solver
