Design Intern

Short Description:

Shambhala Publications, a small, independent publishing house, has an opening for a part-time, temporary design intern.

Required Experience:

Candidate must be:
1. Familiar with trade book design and composition
2. Fluent in InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Distiller
3. Able to execute cover mechanicals
4. Confident in simple page composition, as well as integrating page proof corrections.

Salary/Hours:

This internship is a great learning opportunity and pays $9 hour for about 16 hours/week. This is two-month position, beginning mid-August.
