Publisher In Avon, MA Seeks Publicist

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with PR Director and Publisher to develop marketing strategies that will achieve increased revenue objectives.

Execute marketing/pr strategies for all company initiatives including print, digital, and competition product.

Develop effective and innovative national PR and social media marketing campaigns with keen eye towards continually improving results.

Develop and monitor marketing metrics to measure success.

Further build community channels for deeper market penetration. Create an integrated community strategy that maximizes eBook sales as well as traditional books.

Work directly with authors to leverage inherent community for improved sell-through.

Write effective copy  including but not limited to all press materials, Back-of-the-Book ads, website promotions.

Qualified candidate should possess outstanding communication skills and ability to think creatively. Candidate should be a self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects independently.
Strict attention to detail and proactive problem solving skills are a must.

Innovative candidates with outgoing personality and ability to work in high-pressure situations will be most successful.

Required Experience:

Five (5) years Marketing/PR experience  publishing house preferred.
College degree required.
MAC and PC proficient.

Salary/Hours:

Salary level is dependent on experience.
Flexible hours.
Relocation is not available.
