Duties and Responsibilities:
Description We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic and savvy individual for our opening of a Marketing Manager in our Physical Sciences Book division. This individual will be responsible for creating and implementing a marketing plan that leads to successful completion of our revenue goals. Duties will include learning our targeted markets and performing research as needed, creating partnerships in the market (B2B), establishing and maintaining an online presence for our product, planning and implementing the annual promotional schedule, coordinating production of promotional material within budget and on schedule, working effectively with editorial and sales to ensure marketing efforts are appropriate and communicated, attending related conferences, and managing budgets.
Required Experience:
Qualifications Qualfied candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or business management. Four years or more marketing experience required, a minimum of 2 years in publishing preferred. Must have strong initiative, be goal oriented, and have strong interpersonal agility in business situations.
