Permissions Project Manager

Short Description:
Oversee the process of researching and licensing content for use in textbook products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Excellent opportunity for motivated, energetic individual with project management skills and an eye for detail to join a fast growing textbook publishing service provider.
You will manage the process of finding and permissioning images, video, and other content for use in textbook products. Tasks include: planning, data entry, coordination of external and off-shore staff, trafficking, quality assurance, and rights management throughout the research and permissions process.
Competencies: 1. Analytical and planning abilities in order to understand needs for a product, ensuring that items supplied supports the clients' expectations for quality and integrity. 2. Problem-solving abilities in order to participate in resolution of problems. 3. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as a team member with both in-house and remote members of the team. 4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in order to prioritize and execute tasks, keep accurate records, and follow established procedures to excel in management of work flow and accurate reporting.
Required Experience:
Relevant project management, permissions or contracts experience a plus, but will train the right candidate. Knowledge of MS Office applications, including proficiency in Word and Excel. Filemaker Pro, Adobe Acrobat experience a plus.
Salary/Hours:
Salary includes benefits and is commensurate with experience. This is a full time position based in our Plymouth, Mass facility.
