Cover Copy Writers (Freelance)

Short Description:

Pearson Technology Group, publisher of computer science books for professionals, is seeking freelance cover copy writers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will have previous cover copy writing experience for computer science or other highly technical books. Knowledge of professional-book marketing is a plus. We are looking for writers who can consistently deliver clear, concise, credible copy that is on target with the marketing strategy for these books. On-time delivery and the ability to write to spec are crucial for these freelance projects.

Required Experience:

Interested candidates should submit a resume, at least two relevant published sample covers (PDFs, if possible), and rates. No phone calls, please.

Salary/Hours:

Assignments are made on a freelance basis only and typically pay between $100 and $200 per project.
