Bilingual Editors, Spanish Readling/Language Arts

Short Description:

Content editors for bilingual reading program at a full-service development/production house

Duties and Responsibilities:

Aptara, a premier resource for educational publishers, is looking for Bilingual Editors to develop elementary reading instructional materials. Candidates would be responsible for editing, formatting, and reviewing grammar, spelling and usage; ensuring that style, content, and design of manuscript meet guidelines; editing page proof using both soft and hard proof workflow; and working with editorial and project managers to meet deadlines.

Required Experience:

3-5 years of experience in educational publishing
1-3 years working on instructional materials for grades K-6
Fluent speaker and writer in Spanish

Salary/Hours:

Freelance and on-site positions available starting immediately. Compensation commensurate with experience and in line with developers salary structure.
