Electronic Copy Editors (Freelance)

Short Description:

Pearson Technology Group is seeking experienced freelance copy editors to edit computer science manuscripts online in Microsoft Word.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will have strong experience copyediting technical (preferably computer science) manuscripts, thorough knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style (14th Edition), and expert knowledge of templates, styles, and edit-tracking features. Experience working directly with authors during copyediting is a plus. Must be willing to provide sample copyedit upon request.

Salary/Hours:

Copyediting assignments are made on a freelance basis only. Please state your rate requirements when you submit your resume.
